Finally had some time to go back to where it all started, the photography shed! I got some new hardware and there is no where better to test it. This was also a perfect time to figure out more about Caz too, find out what a goo cat can actually do in a private, controlled area. Well it seems having Caz go all gooey and back repeatedly is a good way to get quite tired. A cat is a cat I guess, I’m just glad he jumped up while not gooey… I really should not use a white couch for this place that is just asking for trouble. Oh well, he seems comfy and warm in his sun spot, even left room for another person. Rubber kitty cuddle session anyone?

For those of you not following on twitter, I recently got a PC upgrade after losing the original workstation! Goodbye 4790k and hello 5950x! This CPU is a beast, 16 cores and 32 threads is amazing for rendering. This scene, like most of mine, started of as a test of how much the CPU can do, so I tried to throw everything I can in this one pic. Direct lights, a lot of light bounces, detailed reflections, a bit of fluids, SSS, as much as I could. Now all I need is to get my dang 3060 and try with RTX acceleration.
